The State Commission for the Protection of the Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia informs that the publication with the heading “The SCPEC RA has bought an armchair for 690 thousand drams” posted on news website “Irakanum.am” on July 28, 2019 contains inaccuracies.
The Antitrust Regulation Department of the Eurasian Economic Commission (hereinafter referred to as the Commission) holds an open competition on the right to conclude a contract for carrying out research work on the topic “Analysis of relations in the digital economy, identification of restrictive practices in the behavior of market participants” for the official use of the Commission.
By the decision of National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia dated 22 April 2019 Gegham Gevorgyan has been appointed as a Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of the Republic of Armenia for a 5-year period.

Gegham Gevorgyan, the Chairman of the State Commission for the Protection of Economic Competition of RA, received Genevieve Boyreau, World Bank's Program Leader in the South Caucasus, and Sarah Naiman, expert and team leader who has conducted a study on the competitive situation in Armenia in the framework of the Consulting Services Analysis "Competition Reform Assessment for Armenia".
